My business proposal has been approved for start up funding through thegenerator.org.nz. Before I can receive the funds I need to find a business mentor. I wonder if your organisation can help me with that. Thank you.
Hey team!Hope you’re going well! We started a new company 6-months ago focusing specifically on helping eCommerce companies get to 8-figures and beyond through data-driven growth. Our clients are loving the results – averaging a 12x return on investment We’d love some ideas on how to stand out in the saturated digital marketing industry. Referrals are coming in now which is awesome, but the budget is still too limited to run ads and do the thing we’re really good at. Website is Robot Unicorn. We started by building a free DIY workshop in a box to try cut through the noise and show value upfront but now having the same issue of how do we get the word out about the workshop 😂Thank you!Steven

Struggling with the admin side of my business, in fact I’m overwhelmed. My “system” isn’t working, from enquiry onwards my crm is lacking and causing me to miss out on jobs as I’m losing track of who/what/when. My forte is building and sales, in admin I’m lost. I would welcome help in putting an admin process in place that is efficient and intuitive. Thank you for any help you may be able to offer.CheersPete
I am looking for help in economic analysis and writing for a Better Business Case to present to government for funding job creation as a COVID response.
How to bring in salaried staff.
Need help starting my website, and advise on overcoming an extreme roadblock as reputation is everything in business
I am keen to grow my new business maraestay.co.nz and would welcome some post launch strategies, I am employing 2 people due to start next week. I am based in Gisborne and we are a Maori owned business – we received funding from TPK in 2019 to complete a business case.
Hi,I have hit a roadblock.I’m losing interest and the frustration is making me wonder if it’s time to call it a day.The business is residential cleaning.I know I can bring in the work! I have trouble hiring ladies that want to work, then there is the contracting issue and $ paid. I’m limited in what I can pay because I can only charge out so much to the client in order to be competitive.
hi everyone. I run an auction house and I am beginning to be able to sell SOME of my household goods easily, but now really need to turn to getting more estates and commercial clears on a regular basis. I have cold called a number of places like the Public Trust, been to see a funeral home, consulted with a real estate agent, tried facebook advertising and returned VERY LITTLE action on a call for estates or figured out a way to attract more. We are sometimes told that we are too small (not enough reach) for the liquidators and the professional services like elderly assist told us we could not pay enough per item for them. But the fact remains, I need good product to sell, and to buy it cheaply so I can sell it cheaply. (Auckland)
I make and market natural bodycare wellness products. Im growing so fast at the moment I keep running out of stock and don’t have enough time to make more. How do I grow from here, whats the path to upscaling?
I’m in a lease until April 2022, it’s a 4 roomed beauty clinic. I’m working to pay the rent more than anything else as I find it hard to get staff that suit the business. Mostly staff want to do the hours that I can cover myself and not the late nights and Saturdays etc. I want to down size or contract out rooms or sub let. Would love to talk it through with someone as I bought the business 7 years ago as a four roomed clinic so if I down size I reduce it’s value immediately.
LifeStone NZAfter 3 years in development a we have crafted a 100% kiwi stone approved for use in public and private cemeteries for Headstones, Plaques and Memorials. A big deal when 97% of headstones are imported creating an enormous carbon footprint. We have also harnessed and created tech so limitless photos, videos, music and written reflections can be accessed directly from the headstone, plaque or memorial. And generated some 2000 followers on FB over covid, through a couple boosted posts. But our conversion is terrible, and our energy is at its lowest. Its almost like creating this solution to a known and personal need was the gate. Capitalising as a business is the hard part that we are not getting right. We are a social enterprise, but we are still an enterprise that could change the world. If we had a bit of help.. Please help if you can.
Helloy name is Hamish and I’m 22 years old I’m currently one of 2 directors at Extreme Outdoors NZ. We are a retail online store for camping tramping and outdoors equipment. You can read about us here extremeoutdoors.co.nz I would first off like to know how we can get access to expand our range and move into being a proper online store like macpac or kathmandu? We have been told no by so many suppliers since we are small and don’t have a physical shop meaning they don’t want to know is. 2nd is how do we build brand awareness and increase our sales it seems we have waves of sales and can have weeks where we sell nothing at all. I would really like the opportunity to work alongside someone with experience and knowledge in the outdoor equipment industry to help us get our ball rolling more. .
