Hi there. Kind Face is coming up to its first birthday and I feel the time is right to seperate it from the parent business Uren Barsal to achieve its full potential.I am thinking of looking for an investor who also has experience / skills in areas where I don’t. It feels like there are a million things to think of / through and I was hoping a Manaaki expert might be able to cull this list and advise what the next steps should be.Many thanks.Chris
How do I attract business people to assist me in my business. I have been trying to build a clothing brand now for the past seven years. Although I have received attention from bands in USA and have sold occasionally on TradeMe and my website, this has not helped attract sales. I have been building my biz entirely on my own and have done everything myself. Art designs, graphic design, photography, building my own website and all my own money. But I need help. I have no more money to inject. How do I attract business or entrepreneur people to help with financing and business growth. I want my brand to be more than a one sale here and one sale there business. I believe with the right help and finances Karnage Clothing could be a Global brand. PLEASE HELP.
My business proposal has been approved for start up funding through thegenerator.org.nz. Before I can receive the funds I need to find a business mentor. I wonder if your organisation can help me with that. Thank you.
We have started a small partnership – 4 partners on equal shares and have been in business for 6 months- we need to work with an advisor on our business structure – are you able to help?
Kia OraI’m just wounder whether the team at Manaaki could help me with the growth of our family run company? Here’s a bit of a back story of my journey so far. My name is Norman Kete, I’m an Owner/Director of a Workplace Health & Safety Training company, but our predominantly focus is on crane training & assessing. We are based out of Taupo but travel up & down the country. I’ve been apart of the crane industry for over 15 years, & during that time, I was also a crane operator. But at the end of 2013, due to a non work related injury, I lost my right eye. So because of the fact that I had monocular vision, I couldn’t go back to operating the 100 to 130ton cranes I was once operating. I ended up on ACC for a year or so, but was approached by a training company to become a crane trainer /assessor. I worked for that training company for 3 years before I decided to go out on my own. So my wife & I started Leverage Training Ltd. We’ve had a really great start, especially over our first 2 years & managed to gain a great client base; but that was pre Covid-19. Post Covid-19 has seen our sales drop around 40%.Anyway, we’ve been struggling with our Leverage Training presence online & I’ve had quite a drop in the way of gathering new customers, especially since Covid. My loyal customers are keeping us going, but I need to reach out to new companies to secure move work.So again, I was hoping Manaaki might have some suggestions to help us grow in this current climate. Cheers! Kind RegardsNorman KeteLeverage Training Ltd.
Kia ora my name is Taisha TariI would love some advice around business growth on a music program Ive written called Waiata Te AKO. There are currently two age groups.14+ and 20+ emerging artists.I’m been funded for the wānanga of both.I’ve attached short video on both. I need a couple of strong business heads to give me a good steer forward.Waiata te AKO 14 +
Hey team!Hope you’re going well! We started a new company 6-months ago focusing specifically on helping eCommerce companies get to 8-figures and beyond through data-driven growth. Our clients are loving the results – averaging a 12x return on investment We’d love some ideas on how to stand out in the saturated digital marketing industry. Referrals are coming in now which is awesome, but the budget is still too limited to run ads and do the thing we’re really good at. Website is Robot Unicorn. We started by building a free DIY workshop in a box to try cut through the noise and show value upfront but now having the same issue of how do we get the word out about the workshop 😂Thank you!Steven

Struggling with the admin side of my business, in fact I’m overwhelmed. My “system” isn’t working, from enquiry onwards my crm is lacking and causing me to miss out on jobs as I’m losing track of who/what/when. My forte is building and sales, in admin I’m lost. I would welcome help in putting an admin process in place that is efficient and intuitive. Thank you for any help you may be able to offer.CheersPete

I am keen to grow my new business maraestay.co.nz and would welcome some post launch strategies, I am employing 2 people due to start next week. I am based in Gisborne and we are a Maori owned business – we received funding from TPK in 2019 to complete a business case.
Hi,I have hit a roadblock.I’m losing interest and the frustration is making me wonder if it’s time to call it a day.The business is residential cleaning.I know I can bring in the work! I have trouble hiring ladies that want to work, then there is the contracting issue and $ paid. I’m limited in what I can pay because I can only charge out so much to the client in order to be competitive.
