I am about to “Go Live” with my website and Facebook pages. I am a sole trader, working with teams to challenge the way they operate / lead. In the past, my business was gained by reputation and word of mouth. Now that I am on my own, I believe it is time to have more of an online presence as some of my market will be completing online courses. What is your recommendation for the frequency of writing blogs and posting to Facebook or LinkedIn? Also, should that be to market or to educate my followers? Or both?My thoughts were along the lines of posting two – three times Thank you.
Do you know where I can find a business mentor? I am a very experienced writer and editor, now building websites for individuals and small businesses. I am able to use my content writing, photography and design skills in creating simple and stylishand optimised websites. My trouble is that I don’t really know how to market myself and would like some guidance. I am up against large companies that are very technically savvy but I am offering a more personalised service. My clients love me. But I need more clients to make a proper business of this. Any help would be appreciated.
Hi We are looking to revamp our website and are looking for advice on layout etc. also SEO and converting website views to sales. Thank you
Hello Manaaki experts! My name is Lilah and I am a 10 year old schoolgirl. I have been on a mission since 2019 to get more drinking fountains installed in our parks around the country (Auckland (for example) only has fountains in 5% of its parks) when I started The Public Water Project. I decided to campaign for more fountains as I am passionate about preventing single use plastic entering our oceans and landfill. Drinking fountains also encourage healthy habits amongst children. Initially, I was talking to companies about sponsoring fountains but last year made this more difficult so I also decided to launch a social enterprise to generate income that I can then use to buy fountains. My business is called Water Us and I am selling eco-friendly toilet paper (in gorgeous paper packaging designed by well known NZ artist, Reuben Paterson), with 50% of the profits going to buy drinking fountains for our parks and playgrounds. I have launched a crowd-funding campaign on Pledge Me to pre-sell products which you can see here. I want to raise $30,000 to fund the first bulk production run. Once I have some stock, I will launch an online shop that will sell direct to my customers and I also want to offer a subscription service. I would like some advice please on how to create good online marketing campaigns for facebook and instagram which will help me build my subscription business. My mum has built a basic site for me on Shopify which you can see here as a temporary site until after my Pledge Me campaign finishes when we can then build an actual shop. Thank you for your time.

How can we promote our website to get more sales? We sell a few items on Trademe and with all completed sales parcel up and post within 24hours of receiving payment. We have business cards and made a small flyer promoting some other items we have for sale trying to direct to our webpage. We also have a FaceBook page where we promote some items directing to trademe or webpage to complete a purchase. We also encourage people to ask questions and tell us what they like so we could order in for them. This is a web based tiny partnership while we both still work fulltime and hope to build up to one needing a retail presence.

I have followed a lot of other Instagram pages who products that are similar to mine, and they have had quite a big reach before they even started selling their product! U have not yet launched my product or promoted it, but would like to know what steps I should be taking to gain an audience who I can then launch the product to.Ngā Mihi.
Hi there,I own The Sari Collective (www.thesaricollective.co.nz).I have a Facebook page and instagram, and I am struggling turning sales; in fact, I’ve had none. I know my SM posts aren’t quite up to scratch, but I’ve run out of ideas of what I should and shouldn’t post. I know I should be curating a brand, but I don’t know how. It would be good to get some help around this, and to turn supporters and visitors to the website into consumers. Any help will be appreciated!
