Reply To: How do we make more sales in isolation? Is there even a market for what we provide anymore? We are a very small business selling Māori Language Wrapping Paper.  We only have 3 birthday designs and were meant to be getting more generic celebration paper in April however due to Covid this is unable to happen. All interactions are online and sales are only through our facebook page Māu Designz

Kia Ora!

Assuming you’ll have a safe way to ship your wrapping soon, I think there would definitely be a market for your product (i’d buy it!).

Did you know there is a targeting option on Facebook ads for people with an interest in Te Reo? (it’s in the target system as Maori language). Also upcoming birthdays? And Friends of people with upcoming birthdays?

Using Facebook?Insta advertising can build awareness, drive traffic to your website and convert people to sales and it’s cost effective – you can start for as little as a couple of dollars a day.

Also, what’s the story behind Mau? Fill out the ‘Our Story’ section of your Facebook page telling the story of it’s beginnings, purpose etc so new people get an understanding of what you’re about.

Add a link to your website on your Facebook page also.

Engage your community – getting them to vote on new designs, offering sneak peaks etc.
Perhaps do a giveaway where to enter people have to comment with a friends name to generate awareness (tag someone, but saying tag someone is against the rules!).

Good luck!
