- How can we promote our website to get more sales? We sell a few items on Trademe and with all completed sales parcel up and post within 24hours of receiving payment. We have business cards and made a small flyer promoting some other items we have for sale trying to direct to our webpage. We also have a FaceBook page where we promote some items directing to trademe or webpage to complete a purchase. We also encourage people to ask questions and tell us what they like so we could order in for them. This is a web based tiny partnership while we both still work fulltime and hope to build up to one needing a retail presence.

- Hi there,I own The Sari Collective (www.thesaricollective.co.nz).I have a Facebook page and instagram, and I am struggling turning sales; in fact, I’ve had none. I know my SM posts aren’t quite up to scratch, but I’ve run out of ideas of what I should and shouldn’t post. I know I should be curating a brand, but I don’t know how. It would be good to get some help around this, and to turn supporters and visitors to the website into consumers. Any help will be appreciated!

- Hi I own a women’s clothing business which features quality fabrics and unique designs. I currently only have a following of 2300 on insta and nearly 3000 on fb. The logistics of algorithms and advertising is confusing. I can’t figure out what to do to increase sales and where to best spend money. How can I improve my sales and increase my business?

- I need help with increasing traffic through my online store on my website. sasharougemiel.comI would like to add to more products but if there is no interest on what I’ve already put up, then I’m unsure if I should proceed further. I would be also interested to find out if I would qualify for any grants as I’d like to design more products.

- We have been running Facebook ads for our online business for about 5 months and have a fairly steady income of 12k NZD / month. We are spending about 2k NZD / month on ads. We don’t have expertise in Facebook ads / pixels but have learned a lot over the past months. These online sales have saved our business from insolvency but we will need to bring in more to start getting salaries again. We have two campaigns going in the UK (where our business and customers are based). One of the campaigns has just exited the ‘learning phase’ but the other is still in it. We just optimised our website with updated template and checkout process. Now we are working on getting updated product photos, new product bundles, and better brand/product stories. Our online sales still go up and down quite a bit and we want to better understand the Facebook/ Shopify interface in hopes of stabalising sales and pushing them over the 20k/month mark. We look forward to a response!! boskke.com

- Hi I need some mentoring on how to find my market. I have “new” product that has been developed to sell on an e-commerce platform. I’ve started Facebook Instagram advertising using business manager . I understand it’s a long process. I feel I need guidance and direction on how to approach perhaps influencers or others who might endorse the product .

- Hi there, I launched my online business nearly 2 years ago. Sales have been growing since January and I have finally been able to start paying myself a small amount each week. My brand is called Sandy Days NZ, I feel that as I’m growing my aesthetic is becoming more clear but I’m struggling to get the momentum and sales I need to really step up my business. I’ve just signed on a digital marketing agency that are doing my fb and insta ads but sales are only drips and drabs and I’m losing money every day as it’s still early days with the ads and I know they take time to work. I’m wondering if you have any organic ways to grow brand awareness or any online courses you can recommend to really start nailing and scaling the business. I don’t hold all the stock on hand to help lower the overheads but I’m wondering if this is a deterrent to potential customers as they have to wait 2-3 weeks for their products? My website is www.sandydays.co.nzthanks so much,Sarah
