The country is desperately short of COVID-19 masks.
Lanaco in Auckland is addressing this with a 3 stage programme. www.lanaco.co.nz
The first stage launched today, with a community based open source masks making programme. See our website under for Covid-19 masks called HELIX.iso
The second stage is a totally NZ Made P2/N95 mask of same quality and standard as required desperately by the front line, from stocking shelves to police patrols.
This begins to ramp up from Monday 30 March and will continue to ramp up as fast as possible over the next 2 months. Watch the website for details
The 3rd stage is 2 new N95 masks assembled in China which we had hoped to have in NZ in February as we initiated this before Covid struck. The global turn of events delayed this but they are due to flow from 3 April, almost all fully committed to very loyal customers who backed us early and have waited patiently.
The 4 new products will assist NZ in this time of need, independent of China or the NZ governments DHB contracts.
