LETS GET DOWN TO BUSINESS.

Question :
Do we need to give an email or other notice to casual employees to advise their services are no longer required due to shut-down? They have been told verbally.

  • Hi Rachel

It is always good practice to provide confirmation of termination of employment in writing, and if you can, cite the clause in their employment agreement where it says you can do that.
    An email is absolutely fine.

    Good luck.
