LETS GET DOWN TO BUSINESS.

Question :
Hi I own a women’s clothing business which features quality fabrics and unique designs. I currently only have a following of 2300 on insta and nearly 3000 on fb. The logistics of algorithms and advertising is confusing. I can’t figure out what to do to increase sales and where to best spend money. How can I improve my sales and increase my business?

    Hi There

Thank you for your question! This is something I specialise with and have experience with as I run my own online businesses so I’d be happy to help!

The best way to increase traffic and business is Facebook/Instagram Advertising. Targeting markets, custom audiences e.g. past 30 days facebook visitors, and lookalike audiences. We can use CBO (Campaign Budget Optimisation) to manage and efficiently spend your money along the way.

You sound like you have a great following so far on social media! The way the Instagram/Algorithms work is that you need to be consistently posting so that your post will be shown on one of your follower’s feeds. Using Instagram/Facebook stories is extremely important as well especially with women’s clothing. I have had experience helping other women’s clothing businesses and it is proven that stories are a great way to gain followers and a good method for advertising.

I would love to be able to help you with this project as my businesses specifically sell products for women so I have experience in this area. Please don’t hesitate to contact me annabellelindberg30@gmail.com

    Have a great weekend!

I support everything @Annabelle says above.
Also have you set up a store on Facebook and Instagram? These can link back to your website or enable transactions through the social platform.

I recommend picking a range of products and focus on a repeatable series of social posts which explain your inspiration for each, showcase your design talent, ask the audience questions about what they like about your work and lastly, try and sell the product itself.

Get your existing audience interested and engaged in your creative method first as this will make it easier to follow Annabelle’s advertising route later – you will know the “type” of person who makes a good customer.

You don’t say if you also have a newsletter but I strongly recommend this – you can then use similar messaging direct by email without having to pay to reach your audience.

Sign up to a few fashion retailers’ email newsletter and watch the frequency that they send out and what they say in each – Rose and Thorne is a good example. And start to copy their techniques.

    Kia ora Kirsty,
    Thanks for your question.
You’re right, Facebook ads can be very confusing and daunting when you first get started!
Totally agree with the previous comments. If you’re interested in doing some learning and research yourself here are the recommendations I would make for you to get started and grow your sales.

I definitely recommend Facebook/Insta ads and the best way to learn is to give it a go!
You already have a decent size audience so I would start with targeting the audience you already have. This audience would be Facebook fans.
Then start experimenting with other audiences. A look-alike audience is a great way to grow your audience and find new customers.
If you have a website then it is important you set up your Facebook pixel so that you are able to run remarketing ads.

Doing these few things alone can make a big difference in my experience.
If you are unsure about setting up a pixel ask your web developer to do it for you.

I hope this helps, good luck with the ad, and f you have any other questions, just let us know

    David 😊
