LETS GET DOWN TO BUSINESS.

Question :
Hi I would love to get some free advertising help. I started my sewing buisness 2 years ago, my cat Holly she has a skin condition which makes her fur fall out. I made a snuggle sack for her, my other cat sammy stole it so I made him one as well. I put the photo up on Facebook and the orders started coming in. I work from home a garage I converted into a shop and sewing room. Usually my cats hang out with me when I’m sewing. I have a website petsnugglesacks.shopI love my buisness and help with advertising would be amazing

  • Hi Kay sounds as if you have created a solution for your pet and for others to! Just checking is this your facebook page? https://www.facebook.com/snugglypetnz/
And can you reconfirm the website as i got a lost of hits when I googled snuggle sack for pets and want to be sure I am looking at the right one. Thanks, Vicky

    Hi Kay

I love this. And I love that you are getting great feedback from both cats and humans.

Is your question in relation to Manaaki’s offer of potential free advertising on e.g. Facebook? If so, you can direct message the team on Facebook to see if they can help.

    Hi Kay,

It would probably be worth doing keyword research to find out what your target market are searching from on Google. The best free guide on this can be found here: https://backlinko.com/keyword-research

Once you have your keywords it would be worth populating your website’s meta data. It looks like you are using WIX, so this should help explain: https://support.wix.com/en/article/adding-seo-page-titles-and-descriptions-meta-tags

Are there any high profile people / influencers you know that have cats? It may be worth sending them one for their cat and hope that they like it (and then say so on social). Maybe have a look on Instagram etc.

Google Shopping are releasing a free version shortly called Google Surfaces, this will (sort of) allow you to have shopping ‘ads’ without having to pay for them. https://support.google.com/merchants/answer/9199328?hl=en

    Hope this helps.
