Legal advice needed to challenge terms of a contract that was transferred but not agreed to for a Auckland GoGreen expo from the first lockdown in March (transfer notice received 2 days prior to show). We did not respond because the country still had community transfer and we did not foresee it being thoughtful to attend any expos this year. GoGreen automatically transferred our contract for the new dates (the end of this month) in which we did not cancel in time and they are now charging us a 100% cancellation fee. I would like to challenge their transfer of contract terms as well as cancellation terms as there is no way we feel it safe to risk our business to attend one of their shows. See below email (contact me direct for the original contract if needed however they say it doesn’t apply so am a bit confused). This email was received on the 26th of March, which is after the date they listed as notifying them if you couldn’t agree to the transfer terms.
